Warmachine is a member of Dark Star Trio and a super technology robot villain who appeared in the episode They Came from Within alongside Riptide and Dragon Lady.

Warmachine is a pinnacle of robotic engineering. This mechanical behemoth, with a surface of silvery-gray metal, embodies the strength of forged steel. Resembling the statues of ancient Greek gods, this robot's physique boasts a chest and shoulders that vastly overshadow his waist, echoing the might of a seasoned bodybuilder. His polished, bald head, crafted entirely from metal, eschews any semblance of skin or hair.

Standing as a titan among the the Dark Star Trio, his towering stature is a testament to unmatched robotic prowess. With surprising agility for his size, he can effortlessly lift and assail adversaries with a single hand. Hidden beneath his armored shell is a cache of formidable weaponry, primed to be deployed against threats. Distinctive panels and compartments hint at the advanced robotic arsenal within, notably a chamber on his chest, potentially harboring missiles ready for launch.

Parallel to his chest, a latch on his back conceals a passage leading to the core of this robotic giant. This hatch, curiously spacious, might accommodate beings, even those canine in nature, suggesting an unexpected design nuance.

Despite his formidable presence, he has vulnerabilities: either a systematic disassembly using precision tools or a catastrophic system failure precipitating his collapse.

He was originally in the Galactic Avenger #1 comic, when he and his partner were talking in the comic world, there would be a bubble graphic with the same text as he was speaking. The mask can scramble the text and make Warmachine gibberish. Warmachine was provoked by the Mask, so he was intended to open up his chest's hatch then show the artillery tubes and reveal missiles to eliminate the Mask, but was stopped by Dragon Lady, because she thought the Mask could help them find Galactic Avenger (their archenemy). Later, the robot was sucked out off the comic with the other members of Dark Star Trio. No matter how the Mask reminds and explains, Dark Star Trio still can’t distinguish the difference between comics and reality. They think Galactic Avenger is in the real world.

The Mask fled to the movie theater and wanted to stay away from these troubles temporarily. Dark Star Trio rushed inside. The Mask provoked whether they wanted to defeat him with a comic body? As a result, Warmachine squashed him with one foot. The Mask was surprised, tapping and stroking Warmachine's body with his hands, and found that he was solid. It seemed that they had obtained real bodies after entering the real world.

The Mask started to deal with the Dark Star Trio. He turned into a "Toolverine" and used two giant Swiss knives to disassemble the Warmachine's right arm, only to be beaten by the wrathful robot. This time the Mask turned into a spider and was captured by Warmachine. After a few interrogations and no results, his detection system detected that Galactic Avenger was nearby (Lieutenant Mitch Kellaway was dressed as their archenemy). After he flew the Mask again, he rushed to the Anime Convention.

Both sides are confused, Mitch Kellaway thinks they are another group of criminals who are going crazy, and Dark Star Trio thinks this archenemy was too weak. When the Mask came to the warfront, he told them that Mitch Kellaway was a policeman, but unexpectedly this angered them even more because they were all sent to prison by law enforcement officers.

Under the guidance of comics fan Doyle, the Mask successfully defeated Riptide, but  Mitch Kellaway was caught by the dragon-shaped Dragon Lady and he was brought to the sky. Now, Warmachine is the primary enemy to deal with. As the robot slowly approaches, Doyle tells the Mask that only Space Dog who was Galactic Avenger’s Side Kick can defeat the muscular machine.

The Mask truce with Warmachine, return home to bring Milo to the warfron, and let it wear the mask to transform and gain magical powers. Suddenly, Dragon Lady unleash Mitch Kellaway and let him falling, he was caught by Milo in time, and then Milo buried Mitch Kellaway in the ground like a bone. Milo spared twice and barked at Warmachine. Warmachine found Mitch Kellaway immobile and shot a laser from his eyes to terminate him. Space Dog came to Doyle, and he told it to find the "Doggie Door", which was actually a flaw in the design of the robot’s entrance behind him.

When the robot focused on fired laser to the archenemy, Milo sneaked around behind him, easily pulled the door handle and the "Doggie Door" was opened so that Milo could enter inside the machine, which did not attract Warmachine attention at all. Milo came to the machine's essential internal device "Fail Safe Box". It opened its legs and pointed its lower body at the device, as if to pee there (this scene was not filmed in the animation).

Warmachine immediately short-out. He experienced several symptoms when it suffered. He just started to say some words like "alert" and "danger", and his head shook violently involuntarily. He tried to fix it with both hands, but it was proved in vain. His head try to flew away from his mechanical body several times, and compared to speaking emotionally before, he started to speak monotonically like a machine that malfunctioning and short-circuiting, saying the unintelligible madness mantra. At the end, Warmachine was forced to shut down, his speech slowly and make weak voice, his body began to droop, his hands were gradually lowered and swayed weakly, his thighs are inward and its barely supported his heavy body. After trembling, the muscular robotic body torn apart. Milo opened the "Doggie Dog" and flew out. This is the first time Warmachine has been defeated.

Unfortunately, because of Doyle's wrong advice, the meteorite brought back by The Mask resurrected the Dark Star Trio with full enegy, including the Warmachine, which was automatically restored, after the various mechanical parts were reassembled, he flew into the sky. He was defeated again when the Mask tore the comic, erasing them from existance.

Trivia[]

  1. When Warmachine was short-circuited and defeated for the first time, he died while singing "daisy bell" like HAL 9000 from the film, 2001: A Space Odyssey.
  2. As an obvious defect, the back door of Warmachine should be equipped with a password access control, biological scanner and alarm, so that no outsiders can open the "Doggie Dog" and enter inside the machine without the robot noticing it.
